The Four I's of Oppression Blog #3

The four "I"s of oppression are ideological, institutional, interpersonal, and internalized. The four "I"s of oppression work together to establish and uphold oppressive systems rather than existing as distinct elements. All four layers of oppression must be addressed in order to stop opression from happening in our society. Some examples of systems of oppression include racism, sexism, ableism, classism, ageism, and anti-Semitism.

The Video: "The Four I's of Oppression with Luna Malbroux" explains the four I's and goes into detail about how it effects society.

The three levels all work togther rather then opposing each other. She also goes into detail about how 

some groups benefit from these opressive structures.
