    The acronym SCWAAMP staands for different things that we value in our culture and country here in the United States. 

    The acronym stands for... 

S - Straitness

C - Christianity

W - Whiteness

A - American-ness

A - Able-bodieness

M - Maleness

P - Property Ownership

In the Dr. Allan Johnston video in the first couple seconds I thought it was very powerful and interesting when he stood silent after saying this is what a conversation about race sounds like. He talks about how it is human nature to just make assumptions about someone just on how they look. People do this before they hear them talk or do anything. He focused more on talking about systems rather than talking about individuals and individual people. He wants to show people that privlage foes exist throughout different systems like in employment. He also does not want to bring people down in his video he just wants to show that privlage and inequallity does exist.

    Good job! I like how you displaced what the word stands for! It was also good that you included how Dr. Allen explained what conversations about race sound like! It's interesting that they are silence.

Blog #9 Eliminating Ablism in Education

 In the Preface and introduction of Kyla Shalaby’s  Troublemakers, the author talks about different lessons in Freedom from Young Children at School  explores how schools often misunderstand and marginalize students labeled as "troublemakers." In the  Preface  and  Introduction , Shalaby sets the stage by questioning traditional discipline methods and arguing that children who challenge authority are not inherently problematic but rather reflect deeper issues within the education system.
